Cincinnati, OH (Sportsbooks) - The Cincinnati Reds bolstered their rotation Monday with the signing of lefthander Eric Milton to a three-year contract. As per team policy, financial terms were not released. In his first season in the National League, Milton ranked sixth in the senior circuit with a .700 winning percentage. The 29-year-old southpaw owns a career mark of 71-57 with a 4.76 earned run average for Philadelphia and Minnesota. In three postseason appearances, all for the Twins in 2002 and 2003, Milton is 1-0 with a 1.65 ERA. In other news, the Reds signed utility man Jacob Cruz to a minor league contract and invited him to spring training.
