Rome, Italy (Sportsbooks) - Juventus stretched its lead in the Italian Serie A to five points on Sunday with a 3-0 win over Chievo.

Marcelo Zalayeta gave Juventus the 1-0 lead in the 25th minute when Manuele Blasi split the defense and found him in the box. Zalayeta put a shot on goal that Chievo keeper Luca Marchegiani was not able to stop.

After the half, Pavel Nedved scored Juventus' second goal of the match. Nedved took a long range strike that found its mark in the 65th minute. Zlatan brahimovic added an insurance goal in the 79th minute after beating Chievo's Davide Mandelli.

The result extends Juve's unbeaten streak to start the season. The table leaders are the only unbeaten side that remains in the Serie A.

In Sunday's other action AS Roma crushed Cagliari 5-1, Fiorentina beat Lecce 4-0, Livorno topped Brescia 2-1, Messina beat Reggina 2-1, Parma drew 2-2 with Atalanta, Siena tied Bologna 1-1 and Udinese beat Palermo 1-0.
