Pittsburgh, PA (Sportsbooks) - Toronto Maple Leafs forward Alexander Mogilny underwent successful arthroscopic surgery on his left hip. The procedure was performed by Dr. Marc Philippon, MD at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center at St. Margaret Hospital in Pittsburgh. The 35-year-old Mogilny also had hip surgery last November and was limited to just 37 games last season. He tallied eight goals and 22 assists during the regular season and then notched two goals and four assists in 13 playoff contests. The native of Khabarovsk, Russia has skated in 956 career NHL games for Buffalo, Vancouver, New Jersey and Toronto and has totaled 1,007 points (461 goals, 546 assists) and 426 penalty minutes.
