Philadelphia, PA (Sportsbooks) -
Philadelphia Eagles running back Brian Westbrook and wide receiver DeSean Jackson were both back on the practice field on Wednesday.
Westbrook, who has missed the last three games with a concussion, was a limited participant in practice Wednesday. The Villanova product has played in just six games this season, rushing for 225 yards and one touchdown.
"We're trying to ease him back in to make sure he doesn't have any symptoms, headaches, or anything," Reid said of Westbrook. "The next step is putting the helmet on and running around and getting him back into football shape. He hasn't been able to do much over the last couple of weeks. We'll see where he is at."
Jackson did not play in Sunday's 34-7 win over the Atlanta Falcons due to a concussion suffered against the Redskins in Week 12. He was a full participant in practice Wednesday.
In 11 games this year, Jackson has caught 44 passes for 769 yards and six TDs.
Fellow wideout Kevin Curtis (knee) was limited in practice. He has not played since Week 2 versus the Saints.
Wide receiver Jeremy Maclin (foot) and linebackers Joe Mays (illness) and Tracy White (shoulder) all missed Wednesday's workout.
"He could play today if he had to play," said Eagles head coach Andy Reid of Maclin. "We're going to give him a couple days of rest, which I think will be good for him and the doctors believe it's good for him. Then we'll just see how he is. He should be fine for the game."
Left tackle Jason Peters practiced fully Wednesday after missing last week's contest. Linebacker Akeem Jordan, who has missed the last four games with a knee injury, was full-go in practice.
