FLORHAM PARK, N.J. (AP) -New York Jets coach Rex Ryan says he needs to figure out the reasons his team has had trouble closing out games. Taking responsibility for the Jets' 1-5 slide following a 3-0 start, Ryan acknowledged Monday that ``it's on me to find that answer.'' Penalties, timeout mismanagement and mistakes on the field have plagued the Jets in the last several games. New York's defense, which came in ranked No. 2 overall, failed to live up to its lofty status in the first half against Jacksonville on Sunday. The Jets tightened up in the second half, but allowed the Jaguars to march down the field for the winning field goal as time expired. The Jets are disappointed, but sit two games behind AFC East-leading New England - their next opponent.Copyright © 2005 The Associated Press. All rights reserved.
