Calgary, AB (Sportsbooks) - Stuart Anderson fired a six-under 66 to take the third-round lead Saturday at the ATB Financial Classic.

Anderson collected six birdies without a bogey and moved to 14-under-par 202 for a one-shot lead over Byron Smith (63) and Graham DeLaet (67).

The 31-year-old Calgary native will head into Sunday's final round at Sirocco Golf Club seeking his third career victory and first since the 2006 Canadian Tour Championship.

He said the par-five eighth was the turning point of his round.

"I pulled it in the left trees and ended up going for the green, accepting the fact that if I didn't get over the trees, I could still make par," Anderson said. "I hit it in the water, dropped it at a great yardage, and spun it back to four feet for a par."

Smith, who made 10 birdies Saturday on the way to his 63, picked up his third win two weeks ago at the Times Colonist Open.

DeLaet, meanwhile, owns just one Canadian Tour win, which he claimed at the 2008 Montreal Open.

Second-round leader Garrett Frank managed only a 71 on Saturday and dropped into a share of fourth place at 12-under 204 with Josh Habig (66) and Scott Gibson (66).
