Charlotte, NC (Sportsbooks) - Jason Richardson scored a season-high 25 points, and Emeka Okafor added a season-best 24 points to go along with 10 rebounds, as Charlotte downed Minnesota, 100-90.

The Bobcats also got a season-high 14 assists and 14 points from Raymond Felton in a game of season-highs. Charlotte also reached its magic number of 90 points. When the Bobcats hit that plateau they are 6-1, however they have yet to reach the win column (0-10) when they score 89 points or fewer.

Charlotte reached triple digits on Monday behind an offense that converted 7- of-13 three-point attempts and shot a respectable 46.3 percent from the floor.

"We had 28 assists and 10 turnovers. That is a huge change for us. We got good shots and took care of the ball better. It's a good win," said Charlotte head coach Larry Brown.

Randy Foye tallied a team-best 23 points and Mike Miller notched a double- double with 19 points and 10 boards for the Timberwolves, who have lost two in a row. Ryan Gomes donated 16 points and rookie Kevin Love netted 10 points with eight rebounds in defeat.

"We have to start finding guys and probably some veteran guys on this team that are going to follow game plans and what we want done," said Minnesota head coach Randy Whitman.

The Bobcats held a slim 21-20 edge after 12 minutes and claimed a 43-36 lead at the half. Richardson's jump shot gave the Bobcats a 66-58 edge with 2:30 left in the third, but the Timberwolves held Charlotte scoreless the rest of the stanza and pulled within 66-61 on a pair of Kevin Ollie free throws.

D.J. Augustin's trey increased the advantage to 75-65 early in the fourth period, and Gerald Wallace drained two free throws off an offensive rebound for an 82-68 edge with 6:46 remaining in the game.

Gomes hit two free throws in a matter of 30 seconds, but Adam Morrison restored order for the Bobcats with a trey for a 94-81 difference with 3:02 to go. Foye's three brought the deficit down to 96-88 with 1:27 left, but Okafor scored from in close moments later, and the Bobcats made enough free throws down the stretch.

Game Notes
