=== Flames lead 3-0 after two periods in Game 1 === Tampa, FL (Sportsbooks) - Jarome Iginla and Stephane Yelle's second period goals have the Calgary Flames on top, 3-0, against Tampa Bay in Game 1 of the Stanley Cup Finals. Iginla scored shorthanded with 4:39 remaining in the period after turning a Tampa Bay turnover into a breakaway. His initial attempt was blocked by Nikolai Khabibulin, but he corralled his own rebound behind the net and beat the sprawled netminder. Yelle scored less then three minutes later, roofing a wraparound from Khabibulin's left to give the Flames their 3-0 lead. Miikka Kiprusoff has 18 saves through two periods for Calgary, which is making its first appearance in the Cup Finals since winning it all in 1989. A bit of luck gave Calgary a 1-0 lead after the first period when Martin Gelinas was credited with a deflection goal just 3:02 into the game. The puck ricocheted into the Tampa Bay net off his right skate after a soft point shot. Khabibulin has allowed three goals on 15 shots. The Lightning are playing in their first-ever Stanley Cup Finals game.
