Kirkland, WA (Sportsbooks) - The Seattle Seahawks signed linebacker Lofa Tatupu to a six-year contract extension, the club announced Friday. Terms of the deal were not released. The deal includes the remaining two years on Tatupu's original contract, which will keep the player in a Seahawks' uniform through the 2015 season. Tatupu, 25, has spent his entire three-year career with Seattle after being selected in the second round of the 2005 NFL Draft. He has started all 48 regular season games since then, and amassed 337 tackles, 6.5 sacks, and eight interceptions. The USC product was also selected to the Pro Bowl in each of his three seasons.
