Redskins re-sign Frost

Ashburn, VA (Sportsbooks) - The Washington Redskins have agreed to terms on a new contract with punter Derrick Frost.

Frost completed his third season as the Redskins' punter, and also served as the team's holder on field goal attempts.

He produced a 41-yard punting average last season, which ranked the righty 18th in the league. Frost's 36.4 net yard average was 21st in the NFL. He placed 23 punts inside the 20-yard line and produced a career-long of 64 yards against the Dolphins in Week 1.
