EAST RUTHERFORD, N.J. (AP) -Buffalo quarterback Trent Edwards left in the third quarter of the Bills' game against the New York Jets on Sunday with what appeared to be an injury to his right hand. It was unclear when Edwards was injured, but he was taken to the locker room and missed a series. When the rookie quarterback returned to the sideline shortly before the end of the third quarter, Edwards had his right wrist wrapped by a trainer. J.P. Losman, the starter before he sprained his left knee in Week 3 and replaced by Edwards, came in at quarterback. Edwards remained on the sideline for the Bills' first possession of the fourth quarter. Edwards was 14-of-21 for 130 yards and an interception when he left.Copyright © 2005 The Associated Press. All rights reserved.
