New York, NY (Sportsbooks) - Bob Hill will not return next season as the men's basketball coach at Fordham. Hill and the school agreed to end their contractual relationship on Wednesday. Hill, who had six years left on a 10-year deal, was the head coach of the Rams for the past four seasons. He compiled an overall mark of 36-78 and did not have a winning record in any of his years on the job. Fordham finished the 2002-03 season with its worst record in school history at 2-26, including 1-15 in Atlantic-10 play. The Rams ended the year with 16 straight losses. Hill has also coached for seven seasons in the NBA where he has a record of 257-212. He most recently coached the San Antonio Spurs from 1994-97 and led the Spurs to two Midwest Division championships. Hill also had stints with the New York Knicks and Indiana Pacers. Fordham has not had a winning campaign since 1991-92 when the club went 18-13 and appeared in the NCAA Tournament.
