Renton, WA (.com) - Marcus Trufant, who spent 10 seasons with the Seattle Seahawks, announced his retirement from the NFL on Thursday.

Trufant re-signed with the Seahawks on Wednesday so he could retire as a Seahawk.

"I'm not sad," Trufant said. "It's just a chapter that's closing. This is a happy time. I'm excited to see what comes next."
