New York, NY (.com) - The NFL has decided to keep the AFC North battle between the Cincinnati Bengals and Pittsburgh Steelers as its Sunday night matchup for Week 15, while moving a pair of games into the late afternoon time slot.

Cincinnati continues to lead the AFC North at 8-4 and Pittsburgh still has faint playoff hopes at 5-7 after a Thanksgiving loss to Baltimore.

The New Orleans Saints and St. Louis Rams will now play at 4:25 p.m. ET instead of 1 p.m., while the Arizona-Tennessee contest was also moved from 1 p.m. to 4:25 p.m.

A total of eight games will now be played in the 1 p.m. spot on Dec. 15, while five games will be played in the second wave of afternoon games.

The NFL uses "flexible scheduling" on Sundays in Weeks 11-17. It tries to ensure quality matchups in all NFL Sunday time slots in those weeks and gives teams a chance to play their way onto prime time and into the late-afternoon time slot on CBS or FOX.
