Landover, MD (Sportsbooks) - Leonard Hankerson's one-handed touchdown catch in the second quarter highlighted the Washington Redskins' 24-13 victory over the Pittsburgh Steelers in preseason action at FedEx Field. Kirk Cousins started under center again for the recovering Robert Griffin III, and the Redskins backup left early in the second quarter with a foot injury. Washington's Ryan Kerrigan returned a Ben Roethlisberger interception for a score and Rex Grossman completed 10-of-16 passes for 133 yards with a touchdown and an interception. Roethlisberger threw for 66 yards on 5-of-6 passes, while Jonathan Dwyer gained 68 yards on 14 carries for a Pittsburgh offense that saw rookie running back Le'Veon Bell exit with a foot injury.

Final Score: Indianapolis 20, NY Giants 12
East Rutherford, NJ (Sportsbooks) - Andrew Luck tossed a pair of touchdown passes and the Indianapolis Colts' defense didn't allow one for the game in defeating the New York Giants, 20-12, on Sunday at Metlife Stadium. Luck played four series, leading the Colts to scores on each of his last three. He ended 9-of-13 for 107 yards, with Reggie Wayne and T.Y. Hilton each hauling in a touchdown in the Colts' first win of the preseason. Giants starting wide receiver Hakeem Nicks made his preseason debut following an injury plagued 2012 season. He made a pair of 20-yard catches, both of which leading to field goals from Josh Brown, who accounted for all of New York's points in going a perfect 4-for-4 on kicks for the night. Eli Manning played into the second quarter and ended 8-of-17 for 91 yards with an interception on the night. New York also saw some key offensive starters leave with injuries in the first quarter, with wide receiver Victor Cruz bruising his heel and center David Baas straining his left knee. Neither player returned after exiting.

Final Score: Arizona 12, Dallas 7
Glendale, AZ (Sportsbooks) - The Arizona Cardinals' offense struggled to score Saturday. Fortunately for them, they had Jay Feely. Feely made four of his five field goal attempts and the Cardinals defeated the Dallas Cowboys, 12-7. The 37-year-old kicker is coming off one of his best seasons. He connected on 25-of-28 field goals last year for the Cardinals, including a career-long 61-yard field goal in Week 6 against the Bills. Carson Palmer got the start for the Arizona, completing 7-of-15 passes for 66 yards on three series. Drew Stanton was 10-for-19 for 152 yards and an interception. Rashard Mendenhall, after missing the preseason opener with knee tendinitis, rushed seven times for a game-high 32 yards. The Cowboys had 342 total yards, but committed six turnovers in the contest. Tony Romo went 7-for-10 for 142 yards while Alex Tanney was 14-for-19 for 136 yards, one touchdown and one interception. However, two of Kyle Orton's eight pass attempts were interceptions. Dallas also had to deal with fumbles by receivers Dez Bryant and Dwayne Harris and running back Lance Dunbar.
Final Score: Cincinnati 27, Tennessee 19
Cincinnati, OH (Sportsbooks) - Andy Dalton passed for 115 yards and a touchdown on 9-of-14 attempts as the Cincinnati Bengals took a 27-19 win over the Tennessee Titans on Saturday. Giovani Bernard and Daniel Herron each had a touchdown run while Mohamed Sanu caught a touchdown pass for the Bengals, who have won both of their preseason games thus far. Jake Locker started under center and went 12-for-20 with 116 yards, while Ryan Fitzpatrick was 9-for-13 for 136 yards and two touchdowns for the Titans, who are now 0-2 in the preseason.
Final Score: NY Jets 37, Jacksonville 13
East Rutherford, NJ (Sportsbooks) - Kahlil Bell scored a pair of third quarter touchdowns as the New York Jets pounded the Jacksonville Jaguars in the second half to take a 37-13 win for their first triumph of the preseason. New York dropped a 26-17 decision to the Detroit Lions in their exhibition opener, but moved into the win column by outscoring the Jags 27-0 over the last 30 minutes while receiving somewhat steady quarterback play from starter Mark Sanchez, who led the team on five scoring drives. Sanchez played three full quarters and made some impressive throws, including a 23-yard touchdown pass to Jeff Cumberland on the Jets' first drive, but also failed to get New York points on two opportunities from the Jaguars' 3-yard line. He was picked off once and ended 13-for-23 for 169 yards. Chris Ivory made his Jets debut and looks to become the feature running back this season, but it was Bilal Powell that shined on Saturday with 68 yards on seven carries. Ivory had just 13 yards on six touches. Blaine Gabbert bounced back from a rough performance in the Jaguars' preseason opener, completing 13-of-16 throws for 165 yards and a touchdown. However, he left after suffering a sprain to his right thumb in the second quarter. Justin Blackmon made four catches for 46 yards in Jacksonville's second preseason loss.
Final Score: Houston 24, Miami 17
Houston, TX (Sportsbooks) - Case Keenum, Matt Schaub and T.J. Yates each threw a touchdown apiece as the Houston Texans defeated the Miami Dolphins, 24-17, on Saturday. Schaub started the game and went 8-for-11 for 92 yards with an interception, Keenum was 11-for-18 for 150 yards and Yates completed 7-of-9 passes for 84 yards for the Texans. Deji Karim ran a game- high nine times for 55 yards. Ryan Tannehill completed 10-of-15 passes for 141 yards and a touchdown while Matt Moore was a dismal 3-for-11 for 15 yards for the Dolphins.
Final Score: Green Bay 19, St. Louis 7
St. Louis, MO (Sportsbooks) - Mason Crosby kicked three field goals as the Green Bay Packers took a 19-7 victory over the St. Louis Rams in preseason action on Saturday. Aaron Rodgers was a crisp 10-of-12 passing for 134 yards while B.J. Coleman had a touchdown pass in the fourth quarter for the Packers, who bounced back from a shutout loss to Arizona in their preseason opener. Sam Bradford was just 8-for-12 for 155 yards, while Austin Davis had a 79-yard touchdown pass to Nick Johnson in the fourth quarter for the Rams, who fell to 0-2 in the preseason.
Final Score: Seattle 40, Denver 10
Seattle, WA (Sportsbooks) - Russell Wilson had two touchdown passes in the Seattle Seahawks' 40-10 thumping of the Denver Broncos in preseason action. Wilson completed 8-of-12 passes for 127 yards for Seattle, which defeated the San Diego Chargers in its first preseason game. Wilson, of course, emerged as Seattle's future during his rookie campaign last season, as the third-round pick led the Seahawks to an 11-5 record and had his squad within a play of the NFC Championship Game before a last-second Matt Bryant field goal lifted the Atlanta Falcons to victory. Jermaine Kearse had a 107-yard kickoff return for a touchdown to go with a receiving score, while Brandon Browner returned a fumble 106 yards for a score in the triumph. Peyton Manning was 11-of-16 for 163 yards with a touchdown for the Broncos, who topped the San Francisco 49ers in their first preseason tilt. Demaryius Thomas had three receptions for 52 yards, while Wes Welker caught three balls for 31 yards and a score in the setback.
(Friday, August 16th)
Final Score: Buffalo 20, Minnesota 16
Orchard Park, NY (Sportsbooks) - Rookie first-round signal caller E.J. Manuel continued his push for the Buffalo Bills' starting quarterback job. Kevin Kolb's chances, meanwhile, seem to be slipping away. Manuel outplayed Kolb and the Bills topped the Minnesota Vikings, 20-16, in the second preseason game for both teams. The Florida State product and first quarterback taken in the draft, Manuel, was 10-of-12 for 92 yards with a score over three series for the Bills, who selected the dual-threat with the 16th overall selection. Manuel was a perfect 6-of-6 on his initial drive to start the third quarter, which resulted in a score when he flipped a 4-yard TD pass to Brad Smith and gave the Bills a comfortable 20-3 advantage. Kolb, meanwhile, started the tilt and completed 13-of-21 passes for 111 yards with an interception. It was an inauspicious outing for Kolb, who made his preseason debut. He missed the previous eight days of practice after twisting his knee while slipping on a wet rubber mat in practice on Aug. 3. Christian Ponder was 5-of-12 for a mere 53 yards in limited action for Minnesota, which finished 10-6 last season and fell to the Green Bay Packers in the NFC Wild Card round. Adrian Peterson again didn't play for the Vikes. He's been rested so far during the preseason.
Final Score: San Francisco 15, Kansas City 13
Kansas City, MO (Sportsbooks) - Alex Smith led the Chiefs to a pair of scoring drives against his former team, but B.J. Daniels hit fellow rookie Chuck Jacobs with the go-ahead touchdown pass with 2:02 left in the game, to boost the San Francisco 49ers to a 15-13 preseason win over Kansas City. Quintin Demps returned a kickoff 104 yards for a TD in the first quarter for the Chiefs, who got field goals of 47 and 23 yards from Ryan Succop in the first half. Smith, who spent the previous eight seasons with San Francisco after being taken with the No. 1 overall pick out of Utah in 2005, was traded to the Chiefs after the 2012 season. He completed 7-of-16 passes for 62 yards in playing the entire first half. Chase Daniel completed all six of his passes for 51 yards for the Chiefs. Colin Kaepernick, who took over as the starter for Smith last season, threw just two passes in this game. Daniels completed 6-of-9 throws for 72 yards. Colt McCoy and Scott Tolzien also saw extensive playing time at QB.
Final Score: New England 25, Tampa Bay 21
Foxboro, MA (Sportsbooks) - Tom Brady looked like his old self in limited action as New England dumped Tampa Bay, 25-21, in exhibition action on Friday. Showing no ill effects from the mild sprain of his left knee suffered earlier in the week during a scrimmage, Brady finished a sizzling 11-of-12 for 107 yards and a touchdown. Ryan Mallett took over for Brady and tallied 137 yards and one score on 12- of-20 efficiency for the Patriots, who improved to 2-0 in the preseason. Danny Amendola totaled a game-high 71 yards and caught Brady's TD pass on six receptions, while Zach Sudfeld added the other touchdown grab. Tim Tebow picked up 30 yards on six rushes, but completed just one of his seven pass attempts for minus-1 yard. Mike Glennon finished 12-of-22 for 121 yards, two scores and one interception for the Buccaneers, who rallied from an 18-7 deficit but fell short. Mike James racked up a game-best 81 yards on 15 carries, while Kevin Ogletree and David Douglas were beneficiaries of Glennon scoring passes in defeat.
Final Score: New Orleans 28, Oakland 20
New Orleans, LA (Sportsbooks) - Drew Brees went 14-for-18 for 202 yards and a touchdown as the New Orleans Saints defeated the Oakland Raiders, 28-20, on Friday. The Saints, who are transitioning from a 4-3 defense to a 3-4 defense under newly appointed defensive coordinator Rob Ryan, limited the Raiders to just 185 total yards and recorded seven sacks and a safety. Matt Flynn was 12- for-16 for 124 yards and a touchdown while Darren McFadden ran five times for 17 yards for Oakland, which narrowly defeated the Cowboys, 19-17, in their preseason opener a week ago.
(Thursday, August 15th)

Baltimore, MD (Sportsbooks) - The Baltimore Ravens rallied to score 20 points in the fourth quarter, capped with a 78-yard punt return by Asa Jackson, and they defeated the Atlanta Falcons, 27-23, on Thursday. Tyrod Taylor went 5-for-9 for 83 yards with a pair of touchdowns and an interception while Joe Flacco was 7-for-9 for 118 yards with one touchdown and one interception for the Ravens, who won their preseason opener against the Buccaneers last week, 44-16. Matthew Stafford connected on 11-of-16 passes for 74 yards and running back Reggie Bush rushed for 15 yards on eight carries and caught five passes for 44 yards for the Lions, who finished 4-12 and dropped their final eight games last season.
Final Score: Philadelphia 14, Carolina 9
Philadelphia, PA (Sportsbooks) - Michael Vick made a strong case to be Philadelphia's starting quarterback on Thursday, completing 9-of-10 passes for 105 yards in the Eagles' 14-9 victory over the Carolina Panthers in preseason action from Lincoln Financial Field. Vick is in competition for the starting role with second-year signal-caller Nick Foles, who got the start under center against the Panthers. Foles finished 6-of-8 for 53 yards with an interception, but did rush for a 7-yard score on Philadelphia's second possession of the game. LeSean McCoy, who missed Philadelphia's loss to New England in the preseason opener, rushed eight times for 47 yards and a touchdown in the victory.
