Arcadia, CA (Sportsbooks) - Former Santa Anita Handicap winner Game On Dude took to the track Monday morning for his last workout in 2012. On his final day as a 5-year-old, Game On Dude worked a half-mile on Santa Anita's fast main track.

The gelding, trained by Bob Baffert, covered the four-furlongs in 48 seconds with Mike Smith riding. The 2011 Big 'Cap winner is preparing for the San Antonio Handicap on Feb. 3. The Big 'Cap will be run on March 2.

"He went nice," Baffert said. "I got him in like 48 and one. He looked really good. Mike was happy with the way he ran."

Co-owned by Joe Torre, Game On Dude has won 10 of 22 career starts for more than $3.1 million. He closed his 2012 season with a victory in the Native Diver Handicap at Hollywood Park.
