| Tampa, FL (Sportsbooks) - The Tampa Bay Buccaneers announced the signing of linebacker Jon Alston on Friday. Terms of the deal were not disclosed. Alston spent the last three seasons with Oakland. He recorded 23 tackles in nine games (four starts) last year. The Stanford product has 66 tackles and two forced fumbles in 39 career games (eight starts) with the Rams and Raiders. |

According to the Miami Herald, Sapp's girlfriend accused the former University of Miami and Tampa Bay Buccaneers star of choking her and throwing her into the couple's hotel room.
