Tony Romo threw for 317 yards with a touchdown and an interception on 27-of-41 passing for Dallas (2-3), but his Hail Mary throw as time expired went wide of the end zone and the Cowboys dropped their second consecutive game. New England has scored 30 points or more in each of its last 13 regular season tilts, one shy of the league standard set by the 1999-2000 St. Louis Rams. New England kept both streaks ongoing with last Sunday's 30-21 ousting of the slumping Jets, avenging a 28-21 loss to their AFC East cohort in this past January's AFC Divisional Playoffs. | (Sportsbooks) - Ladies and gentlemen, welcome to the Contrast Bowl. When the St. Louis Rams visit Lambeau Field on Sunday for a Week 6 date with the defending Super Bowl champion Green Bay Packers, it'll be as perfect an example as the NFL can have of two teams traveling in opposite directions. The host Packers are, well...the defending Super Bowl champions. And if it's indeed possible to improve on postseason perfection, it appears Mike McCarthy's team has done so in starting its 2011 encore with five st |

Martz has been in the spotlight ever since he was hired last season. To many, the architect of the St. Louis Rams' offense in the late 1990's and early 2000s - dubbed the Greatest Show on Turf - was an odd fit, given Smith's preference to run. At times, it seems Martz is trying to force his system on a team that might not be suited for it, particularly given |

If and when that day ever comes remains to be seen. Until then, the public will have to g |

ST. LOUIS (AP) - Despite an 0-4 start, St. Louis Rams coach Steve Spagnuolo is trying to stay positive heading into the team's bye week. The Rams fell behind 17-0 against the Washington Redskins on Sunday before rallying for 10 points in the final 10 minutes to get within striking distance. Rams linebacker James Laurinaitis intercepted Rex Grossman with just over five minutes left to give the offense the ball at the Redskins 19, but an illegal shift penalty and two sacks ended the potential game-trying |
