| Sunrise, FL (Sportsbooks) - The Florida Panthers acquired goaltender Jani Hurme from the Ottawa Senators on Tuesday in exchange for two young prospects. The Senators dealt the 27-year-old netminder before likely losing him in Friday's NHL waiver draft. Hurme served in a backup role last season to starter Patrick Lalime, playing in 25 games and posting a 12-9-1 record with a 2.28 goals against average. He also recorded three shutouts.
