| Decatur, AL (Sportsbooks) - Oakland Raiders linebacker Rolando McClain was found guilty of four criminal charges in Decatur Municipal Court on Thursday and sentenced to 180 days in jail. However, McClain's lawyer filed an appeal that said the verdict was "meaningless," according to The Huntsville Times, and ESPN reported that the attorney, Harvey Steinberg, said "the process starts all over" under state law because McClain has requested a jury trial. | Alameda, CA (Sportsbooks) - Oakland Raiders safety Tyvon Branch has signed his franchise tender offer. The announcement was made Monday, a little over two months after the Raiders designated the four-year pro as their franchise player. Branch, 25, has started all 48 games for the Raiders the past three seasons and had a team-high 109 tackles, one sack and one interception this past season. |
