The 36-year-old Strickland averaged 10.4 points and 6.1 assists last season with Miami. He has also played for New York, San Antonio, Portland and Washington. Lopez left Saturday's contest against Boston with 6:04 remaining in the first quarter. He suffered the injury when he collided with the Celtics' Paul Pierce.
