| Houston, TX (Sportsbooks) - The Houston Texans released veteran wide receiver Derrick Mason on Monday. The Texans acquired Mason from the New York Jets in October for an undisclosed draft pick. The 37-year-old has 19 catches for 170 yards in 12 combined games this season. Mason signed with the Jets in August after spending the previous six seasons with Baltimore. For his career, he has caught 943 passes for 12,061 yards and 66 touchdowns in 230 games with Tennessee, the Ravens, Jets and Texans. |
