| Detroit, MI (Sportsbooks) - Detroit Lions rookie defensive tackle Ndamukong Suh has reportedly been fined for his hit on Cleveland Browns quarterback Jake Delhomme. According to the Detroit Free Press, Suh, the second pick in April's draft, was fined $7,500 for the hit which occurred in Saturday's preseason game. Suh was disciplined for grabbing Delhomme by his face mask and throwing him to the turf as he shoveled a pass. |

NEW YORK (AP) - Detroit Lions rookie defensive tackle Ndamukong Suh has been fined $7,500 by the NFL for his roughing-the-passer penalty on Cleveland quarterback Jake Delhomme. Suh grabbed Delhomme's face mask and twisted it. He wrapped his arms around the quarterback's head and slammed him to the ground in an exhibition game last Saturday.
