Millstone, NJ (Sportsbooks) - Denver Nuggets guard J.R. Smith was sentenced to 90 days in jail after pleading guilty to reckless driving in a crash that killed his close friend two years ago. The Newark Star-Ledger reports the 23-year-old Smith will spend 30 days in a Monmouth County jail. Judge Debra Gelson sentenced Smith to 90 days, but he'll likely only have to serve 30 of them because 60 days were suspended as long as he performs 500 hours of community service by visiting sick children in hospitals.
