Bengals shoot for surprising start in Denver NFL Football 09/16/2011
etwork) - That persistent din in the background? That's just the...oh, never mind. John Fox says it doesn't exist. Six days after a good chunk of the paying crowd at Sports Authority Field at Mile High expressed audible (to some) discontent with the Denver Broncos' quarterback situation, the team and its first-year coach will once again head to the sidelines in search of win No. 1 on the 2011 schedule when it hosts the Cincinnati Bengals on Sunday. The Broncos dropped a 23-20 decision to Oakland in a Monday s

Englewood, CO (Sportsbooks) - Denver Broncos cornerback Champ Bailey is listed as questionable for Sunday's game against the Cincinnati Bengals. Bailey was held out of practice all week due to a hamstring injury. He had five tackles in Monday's 23-20 loss to the Raiders. Defensive end Elvis Dumervil (shoulder), wide receiver Brandon Llyod (groin) and running back Knowshon Moreno (hamstring) are also listed as questionable. The Broncos have ruled out wide receiver Demaryius Thomas (finger), defensive tackl

others had spoken about him, but said: "It wouldn't hurt." Stokley's best NFL season came in 2004, when he caught 68 passes for 1,077 yards and 10 touchdowns for the Colts. He signed with the Seahawks last season after reaching a settlement with the Denver Broncos that made him a free agent. He's also played for the Baltimore Ravens and has 338 career receptions for 4,673 yards and 34 touchdowns. New York fans probably remember Stokley for scoring the first touchdown on a 38-yard catch in Baltimore's 34-7 win
Tebow to fans: thanks, but I'm good NFL Football 09/15/2011

ENGLEWOOD, Colo. (AP) - Tim Tebow appreciates his fans cheering for him to take over as the Denver Broncos' quarterback but says he trusts his coach and will bide his time without complaint.

A group of his most ardent supporters have said they'd like to buy two billboards in downtown Denver urging coach John Fox to bench Kyle Orton in favor of the former Florida star.

Tebow said he'd rather they donate the $10,000 to his charitable foundation.

Raiders' Janikowski matches NFL record with 63-yard kick NFL Football 09/13/2011
Denver, CO (Sportsbooks) - Raiders kicker Sebastian Janikowski tied an NFL record by hitting a 63-yard field goal during Monday's game against the Denver Broncos. Tom Dempsey hit a 63-yarder for New Orleans in 1970, and Denver's Jason Elam matched the mark in 1998 at Mile High Stadium. Thirteen years later in the same city, Janikowski lined up the long kick at the end of the first half and drilled the ball through the left side of the uprights, with a few feet to spare. Janikowski also hit kicks of 37 and

Brandon Lloyd was hobbled by a groin injury, Elvis Dumervil limited to spot rushing duty because of a balky shoulder and Knowshon Moreno was bothered by a hamstring.
