| Charlotte, NC (Sportsbooks) - The Carolina Panthers placed cornerback Captain Munnerlyn on injured reserve Friday with a left hamstring injury. Munnerlyn, who had started all 14 games for the Panthers this season, was hurt during Sunday's win over Houston. The third-year player had 58 tackles, two sacks and one forced fumble. He was the 17th Panther placed on IR this season, a new team record, and the fifth starter on defense to go out. |
