| Buffalo, NY (Sportsbooks) - The Buffalo Sabres and restricted free agent forward Vaclav Varada agreed to a two-year contract on Tuesday. Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed. The 26-year-old Varada, who will be entering his eighth season, all with the Sabres, played 76 games last year and scored seven goals and assisted on 16 others. He also compiled 82 penalty minutes.
