Redskins sign TE Caussin NFL Football 07/22/2014
Ashburn, VA (SportsNetwork.com) - The Washington Redskins have signed tight end Mike Caussin. Terms of the deal were not disclosed. Caussin appeared in five games for the Buffalo Bills during the 2011 season and has five receptions for 41 yards. He joined the Bills' organization in December 2010 and remained with the club in various roster roles before being released last week. The Redskins also waived long snapper Kyle Nelson.

Bills general manager Doug Whaley said in a statement Tuesday night that early indications are the injury "may be significant." Alonso, 23, started all 16 games after being drafted in the second round out of Oregon and finished with 159 tackles, two sacks and four interceptions.
