OWINGS MILLS, Md. (AP) -In his first practice with the Baltimore Ravens, Anquan Boldin performed very much as he did during his first seven years in the NFL. The talented wide receiver repeatedly sliced through the middle of the defense, worked his way open and latched onto a pass before turning downfield. It's nothing Boldin hadn't done before with the Arizona Cardinals. This time, though, the No. 81 on his chest and back was surrounded by a rich shade of purple. The 32-year-old Thomas signed as an unrestricted free agent with the Patriots after seven seasons with the Baltimore Ravens, including two Pro Bowl appearances. Thomas was a healthy scratch for the Patriots in two games in 2009, and was also one of four players sent home by Belichick after arriving late for practice during a snowstorm in December. OWINGS MILLS, Md. (AP) -After waiting a day to make a pick in the NFL draft, the Baltimore Ravens went on the defensive Friday night. Baltimore took Texas linebacker Sergio Kindle with the 43rd overall selection, one of three picks obtained from Denver during the first round Thursday. Kindle is a 6-foot-3, 250-pounder whom the Ravens will be counting on to improve a pass rush that was inconsistent last season. ``I get to the quarterback, man. That's my deal,'' Kindle said. | New York, NY (Sportsbooks) - The Denver Broncos traded three picks to the Baltimore Ravens for the 25th overall pick in the 2010 NFL Draft, which they then used to draft Florida quarterback Tim Tebow. Tebow has been arguably the most scrutinized prospect in this year's draft class, and there were many questions about where he would be selected; however, his success on the field is unparalleled, as he helped the Gators win two national championships in his four years at the school.
