| Atlanta, GA (Sportsbooks) - The Atlanta Thrashers on Tuesday placed defenseman Chris Tamer on the injured reserve list with a sore back. The club also re-assigned center Per Svartvadet and goaltender Frederic Cassivi to the Chicago Wolves (AHL) and placed center Chris Herperger on injured reserve with a concussion. Tamer, who was selected by Atlanta in the 1999 expansion draft, was originally the Pittsburgh Penguin's fourth-round pick in the NHL Entry Draft in 1990. He played in 78 games for the Thrashers la |
